3205 awarded 2018-2019 Star Council Award

Congratulations Council 3205, we were awarded the 2018-2019 Star Council Award. This is a great achievement for the Council and for the many officers, members, and our insurance agent who made it possible.

Star Council Award

The Star Council Award recognizes outstanding achievement in membership, insurance and service program activities. In order to earn the Star Council Award, a council must qualify for the Father McGivney, Founder’s, and Columbian Awards.

Additionally, the council must submit its Annual Survey of Fraternal Activity (#1728), its Service Program Personnel Report (#365), and remain in good standing with Supreme Council assessments.

*To be eligible for the Star Council Award in the United States and/or Canada, councils must be fully compliant with applicable safe environment requirements.

2019 Scholarships awarded

Council 3205 awarded four academic scholarships to four deserving student applicants at our 2019 annual family picnic on June 19, 2019. Congratulations to the recipients: Emilia Burnett, MaKenna Kotrla, Lacy Matocha, and Faith Starnes. Texas Special Olympics Equestrian Event

On May 18, 2019, members of Council 3205 along with Councils 1834 and 11759 prepared and served the closing banquet meal for the athletes, families and staff of the Texas Special Olympics Equestrian event at the Brazos Expo Center. The theme of this year’s banquet was Star Wars.

3205 Academic Scholarships for 2019-2020

Council 3205 is offering four $500.00 scholarships for the 2019-2020 academic year. 3205 members (in good standing); children/grandchildren of 3205 members (in good standing); and graduating seniors who are STA parishioners active in STAY are eligible to apply. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors or currently enrolled in college/trade school. Completed application packets must be submitted by May 1, 2019.
